Pharmacy
Pharmaceutics is the discipline of pharmacy that deals with the process of turning a new chemical entity (NCE) into a medication to be used safely and effectively by patients. It is also called the science of dosage form design. There are many chemicals with
pharmacological properties, but need special measures to help them achieve therapeutically relevant amounts at their sites of action. Pharmaceutics helps relate the formulation of drugs to their delivery and disposition in the body. Pharmaceutics deals with the formulation of a pure drug substance into a dosage form.

Organic Reactions for Drug Synthesis
The course aims to provide a deep understanding of organic pharmaceutical chemistry. The course material covers the theoretical principles behind organic reactions and their practical applicability with a strong focus on medicinal chemical applications. After successfully completing the course the student should be able to plan and evaluate the synthesis of complex drug and drug-like molecules.

Pharmacology
Pharmacology is the study of the interactions that occur between a living organism and chemicals that affect normal or abnormal biochemical function.
Physiology
Physiology is a science of studying normal biological functions, and the regulatory factors involved in these functions. Contents of this course include: cellular fundamental functions; blood; blood circulation; respiration; digestion and absorption; energy metabolism and body temperature; urine formation and excretion; function of the sensory organs; function of the nervous systems; endocrine and reproduction.
Physical Chemistry
Physical Chemistry I introduces the basic principles of the physical properties of gases, chemical thermodynamics and statistical thermodynamics. Emphasis is placed on the energy transfer in the chemical reactions, the direction and limitation of spontaneous change, the connection between the molecular energy level and the thermodynamic properties of matter and also the application of thermodynamics in the phase diagram and chemical equilibrium. Physical Chemistry II introduces the basic concepts and theories in three specific fields: (1) kinetics of chemical reactions; (2) transport process and electrochemistry; (3) interface and colloid science.
Biochemistry
Biochemistry describes the chemical processes and mechanisms shared by all living organisms. The properties of amino acids; the structure and function of proteins, nucleic acids, lipids and carbohydrates; the kinetics and catalytic mechanisms of enzymes; the functions of vitamin, co-enzyme and hormone; transmembrane transportation; glycolysis; citric acid cycle; TCA cycle; electron transport and oxidative phosphorylation; glycogen metabolism; fat acids metabolism and amino acids metabolism are included in this course.

Spectrometric Identification of organic Compound
This course aims to impart proficiency in the use of spectrometric data to infer chemical structure and dynamics. Working knowledge of substance characterization, spectroscopic theory, molecular symmetry and chemical and physical methods to separate mixtures are sub-themes of this course. This problem-based instruction involves nuclear magnetic resonance, ultraviolet and infrared spectroscopies, mass spectrometry and arguments in differential chemical reactivity to identify and characterize organic compounds.

Experiment of Physical Chemistry
Experiment of Physical Chemistry is an experimental project combining with physics and chemistry. It is mainly composed of a number of individual experiments. With the help of experimental research method and experimental technique of physics,physical properties such as electrical, optical, magnetic and acoustic properties are measured. In the experiments, evaporation enthalpy change of pure substance, two-component gas-liquid phase diagram, combustion enthalpy change of organic substance, chemical reaction equilibrium constant, electromotive force of battery, chemical reaction rate, interfacial tension of solutions, viscosity average molecular weight of polymer, electronic structure of transition metal complexes, and molecular dipole moment are studied.

Experiment of Instrumental analysis is a course on comprehensive chemical experiment including analytical chemical theory and technology. It is related to the process control and analysis in chemistry, biology, material and environment. Its goal is to let students learn to do scientific research. The experiment content includes preparation of methyl orange、magnetic iron oxide、hydroxyapatite、calcium alginate, modification of aluminum oxide and its application in environment、medicine、analytical chemistry.

The experiment content includes acid-base titration(Determination of unknown base、Determination of organic acid molar mass),complex titration (Determination of aluminum by back titration、Determination of copper by replacement titration),redox titration (Determination of iron by potassium dichromate method,Determination of calcium by potassium permanganate method and Determination of copper by iodometric method),The experiment type includes verification type、comprehensive type and design type(Determination of calcium and barium in mixed solution、chromium waste water processed and chemical valence analysis).
Quantitative Analysis
This course provides systematic knowledge of chemical analysis introducing basic titration methods (acid-base, coordination, redox titration) and gravimetric analysis, and basic knowledge of statistics analysis.
Instrumental analysis
A course on the methodology and instrumentation in analytical chemistry, including basic principle and major application of Atomic Absorption Spectrophotometry, Atomic Emission Spectrophotometry, Ultraviolet–visible Spectrophotometry, Gas Chromatography, Liquid Chromatography, Capillary Electrophoresis and Electrochemical Analysis.
