History of Ethnic Groups in Ancient China

The main purpose of this class is to introduce the basic facts, the principle methodologies, as well as the development of the history of the ethnic groups of ancient China, with which the students shall realize that the Chinese history is not only the experience of Huaxia-Han people, but also that of the ethnic groups within ancient China. The ethnic peoples all share the same process of the creation of Chinese history. It is necessary for anyone to well understand history with a wide view of peoples other than Huaxia-Han. This class focuses on the history of Altaic peoples, of whom consist the main members to conquer and rule the proper China in almost two thousand years.
