Overview
The main contents of this course include the fundamentals of microorganisms with emphasis on the basic concepts, morphology, structure, classification and identification of plant pathogenic prokaryotes, fungi and oomycetes, nematodes and viruses, and the relationships between them and plant diseases, etc. The applications of important microorganisms in agriculture and plant protection will also be taught in the class. Some important pathogens causing various plant diseases will be introduced and discussed in depth.
