The full tuition rate for the 2017–2018 academic year is $17,413 per quarter for Full Tuition (first eight quarters of residency) and $4,353 per quarter for Advanced Study (study in the 9th quarter or later). This Full Tuition rate is applied for the first eight (8) quarters of the student’s residency, and the Advanced Study rate is applied after the point (quarters 9+), up until the student is neither receiving a scholarship or stipend.
For international students, Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) scores
Graduate Record Examination (GRE) verbal, quantitative, and analytical scores above the 70th percentile (Psychology Subject Test is required before admission, not necessarily for the application).We do not have an absolute cut-off score for GRE scores; however most of the applicants that we consider have GRE scores above the 70th percentile. Please have your official GRE scores sent by the Educational Testing Service (ETS) directly to The Northwestern University Graduate School – Institution code 1565 (Department code 2001 optional).
Psychology Subject Test is now required prior to admission to address possible changes to accreditation standards.
