Applicants whose first language is not English must take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) and earn a minimum score of 600 on the paper-based test, 250 on the computer-based test or 100 on the internet-based test. The test must have been taken within the last two years. Non-native English speakers who have been awarded a baccalaureate or graduate degree from a U.S. university are exempted from the TOEFL requirement.

Applicants must take the Law School Admission Test (LSAT) and register with the Credential Assembly Service (CAS). The LSAT is offered four times annually: September/October, December, February, and June. The admissions committee will occasionally accept LSAT scores from the June administration the summer preceding enrollment (ex. June or July 2018 test scores will usually not be accepted for the August 2018 entering class–except in rare cases in which taking the February LSAT was not possible due to factors outside the applicant’s control, e.g. natural disasters). However, applicants are encouraged not to wait until June to take and submit their LSAT scores because our class is usually nearing completion at that time.
