Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) iBT (Internet-based test) Minimum score: 80
International English Language Testing System (IELTS)Minimum score: 6.5. Official test scores must be delivered directly from the testing agency, and must be less than two years old at the time of admission. A minimum score is required for unconditional, regular admission as a graduate student. Applicants with lower scores will be considered but are advised to improve their test scores and reapply.
GRE revised scores of 154, 156, and 4 for the verbal, quantitative and analytical writing components, respectively, are advisable based on our experience with student success in the program.
The Graduate Management Admission Test (GMAT) or GRE may be required for admission to the Naveen Jindal School of Management. Students interested in being considered for a GMAT/GRE waiver should review the test waiver conditions outlined in the admission requirements section. A GRE or GMAT score is not required for admission to the School of Arts and Humanities and School of Arts, Technology, and Emerging Communication.
