Admitted MA students are eligible for up to two years of funding. Most funded MA students receive teaching assistantships within the School. In addition, the Graduate College offers several fellowship opportunities that can be found on their website. This is contingent on available funds.

A score of 550 or higher on the paper-based (PBT) version of the test, or a score of 81 or higher on the Internet-based version of the test (iBT).
Admission to the Graduate College requires a total IELTS score of 7.0, with no subscore less than 6.0. In addition, all IELTS test takers—regardless of score—will be required to take an on-campus English Proficiency Evaluation.
